Elana Meyers Taylor won the first Olympic gold medal of her career in women’s monobob on Monday. It’s her second Olympic medal, joining the silver she won at the 2022 Beijing Games. Meyers Taylor, the 41-year-old mother of two, finished her four runs with a combined time of 3:57.93, four-tenths of a second ahead of Germany’s Laura Nolte (3:57.97).
